How We Watch Streaming Online Movies From Netflix
Netflix's software does an excellent job of calculating your internet connection speed and adjusting itself to give you the best viewing experience. No special hardware or software is needed. Movies play right in the internet browser on your computer or you can connect your computer to a TV with a standard cable.
We like to keep it simple. At our house we watch Netflix Instant Movies three ways:

Using Flicks-Now: Find and Advanced Search
Using Simple Find: If you type a phrase such as 'Marisa Tomei' or 'French' into the Flick-now search box and click GO we will scan the Netflix catalog for the phrase you have entered in the movie : Titles, Synopses, Genre lists, lists of Actors and Directors.
Drag the picture of the movie and drop it on the TV to watch your selection immediately. Remember - you need a Netflix subscription to watch instant movies - click the Ad on the Home page of flicks-now.com to subscribe. If you are on a Netflix unlimited plan (less than $10/mo) you can watch instantly for no additional fee. You still get DVDs by mail plus you can watch instantly as often as you want. Watching instantly doesn't affect the number of DVDs you get!
Using Advanced Search: You can use Flicks-Now Advanced Search to refine your search and really delve into the catalog. For example: You can ask Flicks-Now to Show me all the movies Rated PG released since 2004 and rate them by popularity or show me all the Argentine films with a rating of 3 stars (Average Rating) or more. Here's how that would look after you click the Advanced Search button of the Flicks-Now Search Engine.
Once you click the Search button - Flicks-Now searches the Netflix catalog of instant movies. In our example it should produce a result something like this:

Each line of the list contains information about a single instant movie or television show. If you slide your mouse over the box art at the beginning of a line — an enlarged version of the movie art will pop-up.
Each row lists the Title (you can re-sort the list by double-clicking the title column head) and in the second column, the MPAA_Rating (e.g. PG-13, R, etc), the year of the movie's release, the runtime in minutes and the Netflix average user rating (Average Rating). The first words of the synopsis are also shown. If you hold your mouse over this text — the entire text of the synopsis appears in a yellow popup box for quick review.
Double clicking the line - or clicking the info button will take you directly to the Netflix page for this movie (assuming you have logged into Netflix). One more click on Play and the movie begins instantly to play on your computer or television screen.
